Job Summary

Debut seeks a Strategic Account Manager with a robust background in corporate events and a keen understanding of marketing strategy. In this vital role, you'll report to the VP, Strategy & Creative, focusing on developing comprehensive account strategies that drive client growth and engagement. Your expertise in the events industry will be instrumental in delivering client-centric solutions that resonate with Fortune 500 companies. If you're passionate about transforming events into strategic marketing tools and have a track record of fostering long-term client relationships, we want you on our team.

 
 

Job Duties
-

  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and Debut's innovative experience solutions.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that leverage industry insights and marketing trends, driving client growth and engagement.
  • Lead a sales-focused approach, utilizing your comprehensive understanding of the corporate events landscape to identify new opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to offer clients cutting-edge experience solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional creative, production, and science teams to ensure seamless execution of events that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Manage the proposal process, creating compelling presentations that highlight Debut's unique value proposition with behavioral approach in the corporate events space.

 

Working Conditions

Skills & Qualifications
-

  • Proven expertise in strategic account management and business development within the corporate events industry.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategies and how they integrate with experience planning and execution.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging and persuading high-level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative experience solutions.
  • Efficient time management and organizational abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid business acumen, including contract negotiation, strategic planning, and an understanding of P&L management.

 

Requirements
-

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a strategic account management role within the corporate events industry.
  • Experience in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
  • A portfolio of successful events and client relationships, particularly with Fortune 500 companies.
  • Proficiency in presentation tools (Keynote, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in Behavioral Science is a strong asset
